Paul Chedgey

Paul Chedgey grew up in Ireland with a love of plants and healing. Much of his childhood was spent germinating seeds, and treating sick or injured wild birds and animals.

He graduating from the School of Phytotherapy (Herbal Medicine) in 1995, obtaining the Diploma in Phytotherapy, and becoming a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists. Since that time he has done further training, initially at the Karruna Institute in Devon, where he completed the two-year postgraduate course in Craniosacral Therapy, obtaining the Diploma in Craniosacral Therapy.

He studied at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in both Five-Element and Traditional Chinese styles of Acupuncture. He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, and holds a Licentiate in Acupuncture. He has also obtained qualifications in therapeutic massage and as a singing-teacher.

He has featured on the BBC2 series “The Plants Man”, talking about natural medicine.

He now regularly attends postgraduate conferences and seminars to keep his “finger on the pulse” of any new developments.

Having spent many years studying a range of different approaches to health care, he is now delighted to be able to offer this combination of very compatible therapies.
